We finally tackled our Livermore backyard remodel last summer, turning a boring lawn into a dry-shade garden with decomposed granite paths and a flagstone patio. Added a small arbor with wisteria for dappled shade, plus built-in seating around a fire pit that’s perfect for cool wine country evenings. It’s now our favorite spot to unwind after work.
